Agricultural Heritage and Resources annual Oktoberfest will be celebrated on Saturday, October 2-3, 2010 at the Heritage Farm located 5 miles south of Kewaunee on State Highway 42.
Saturday, Oct 2nd- Kinderfest(kid’s day) beginning 12noon with lunch @$l.50(frankfurter(hotdog), Mac n’ cheese, and applesauce; 1pm to 4pm activities include Edelweiss Dancers of Manitowoc, Storylady, Children’s crafts, face painting, pumpkin decorating and games.
Sunday, Oct 3rd- celebration begins with 10:30 Polka Mass in the Pavilion, Fr. Bill O’Brien with Jerry Voelker Band.

If you enjoy classic agricultural heritage, come drive the Kewaunee County Area Barn Quilts Tour. This tour was inspired by the Sac County Iowa Barn Quilts and began in January 2008. Over 125 area 4-H and FFA students worked with the community designing and painting 18 “quilts” for historically-significant barns.

Heritage Farm Celebrates Kewaunee County’s Past, Present & Future
Agriculture was, is and most likely will continue to be the economic foundation of Kewaunee County’s prosperity. Honoring that is the Heritage Farm at Agricultural Heritages & Resources, Inc, located along Highway 42 in Kewaunee. In addition to preserving Kewaunee County’s past, the Heritage Farm sponsors the Bluegrass On the Lake Festival and the Agriculture Heritage Days Parade, along with other events.
